TRX stands for Total Resistance eXercise and is a suspension training system. What is suspension training? It's a form of resistance training consisting of body exercises using a system of ropes, webbing, and other flexible materials. This system, consisting of pulling at different angles, allows users to work against their own body weight. Suspension training promotes strength, balance, flexibility, and joint stability, and is a refreshing twist on traditional exercise. In this class, Dr Alex teaches a beginner class utilizing the TRX suspension trainer.
