About Me as a Yoga Teacher
My journey as a yoga teacher is rooted in deep exploration and dedication. Over the past three years, I have immersed myself in modern Vinyasa yoga with Simon Park, Claudia van der Tier, and Daphne Koken, Hatha yoga at Bilva, and mobility and flexibility training with Matthew Smith. These practices have shaped my approach, blending dynamic movement with mindful alignment and intelligent sequencing.
I am profoundly influenced by Taoist philosophy, especially the concept of Wu Wei—the art of effortless action. Wu Wei teaches us to move in harmony with life’s natural rhythms rather than forcing or resisting change. In my yoga flows, this translates into a practice that feels intuitive, fluid, and sustainable, helping practitioners cultivate ease and presence both on and off the mat.
Beyond movement, sound and vibration are integral to my teaching. With more than 7 years of experience in playing and composing music within spiritual communities in my homeland Venezuela, I have woven the power of sacred sound and mantra into my yoga practice. Whether through live music, chanting, or the rhythm of the breath, I guide students toward a deeper connection with their inner landscape.
My classes are an invitation to explore balance, flow, and deep presence, creating space for transformation in body, mind, and spirit.
Description
This gentle floor-based class invites you into a slow, mindful rhythm where breath and movement merge effortlessly. Inspired by the Taoist principle of *Wu Wei*—the art of non-doing—each posture unfolds naturally, without force. Like a moving meditation, this practice calms the nervous system and brings harmony to body and mind. Ideal after a long day, it's a soft space to unwind, release tension, and simply flow. Suitable for all levels, especially beginners."
