Description

Hey Haarlem,
I'm Daniel, and I'm really looking forward to connecting with you all.
Having moved here just under a year ago, I'm excited to weave my practice into the fabric of this community here at Homi.
Yoga, for me, is more than just postures; it's a way of exploring our inner landscape and finding practical tools for living well. My own path started from a place of seeking balance amidst a demanding life period, and I quickly realised the profound impact that linking breath, movement, and mind could have.
As a teacher, my intention is to hold a safe and brave space where you feel empowered to explore your potential. We'll use movement to build awareness, breathwork to shift energy and find calm, and moments of meditation to cultivate clarity and presence. I love integrating insights from both traditional practices and modern understanding, always connecting what we do on the mat back to how we live our lives off the mat.
Whether you're stepping onto the mat for the first time or have an ongoing practice, my classes – from dynamic flows to deep rest, meditations and dedicated breathwork – are an invitation to listen inward, be patient with yourself, and discover your own unique strength and stillness.
I’m genuinely excited to share this practice with you at Homi.
Come as you are!
Sunly,
Daniel.

I was looking for something that could help me feel more connected to myself and yoga gave me a sense of calm and presence that I hadn’t felt before. More I practiced, more I realized how much it helped me connect with myself on a deeper level and present.
Hatha Yoga and Stress Release i do.
Hatha is all about moving with awareness, focusing on breath, posture, and alignment. You gonna find a flow Hatha class and holding postures, to feel grounding and connecting. The Stress Release class uses a strip as a support to help release deep muscular tension, promote relaxation, and calm the nervous system through gentle, restorative movements.
I want people to feel good in their bodies and take a break from all the noise outside. Finding movement or stillness, my goal is to help them feel more grounded, present, relaxed and feeling comfortable during the practice.

About Me as a Yoga Teacher
My journey as a yoga teacher is rooted in deep exploration and dedication. Over the past three years, I have immersed myself in modern Vinyasa yoga with Simon Park, Claudia van der Tier, and Daphne Koken, Hatha yoga at Bilva, and mobility and flexibility training with Matthew Smith. These practices have shaped my approach, blending dynamic movement with mindful alignment and intelligent sequencing.
I am profoundly influenced by Taoist philosophy, especially the concept of Wu Wei—the art of effortless action. Wu Wei teaches us to move in harmony with life’s natural rhythms rather than forcing or resisting change. In my yoga flows, this translates into a practice that feels intuitive, fluid, and sustainable, helping practitioners cultivate ease and presence both on and off the mat.
Beyond movement, sound and vibration are integral to my teaching. With more than 7 years of experience in playing and composing music within spiritual communities in my homeland Venezuela, I have woven the power of sacred sound and mantra into my yoga practice. Whether through live music, chanting, or the rhythm of the breath, I guide students toward a deeper connection with their inner landscape.
My classes are an invitation to explore balance, flow, and deep presence, creating space for transformation in body, mind, and spirit.

Yoga entered my life at 17 and quickly became a deep passion. It has been a constant presence ever since. I am trained in Raja Yoga and continue to deepen my practice, as yoga is an endless journey for me.
My classes are an invitation to discover balance. Yoga is a journey to yourself, and I would love to walk that path with you.
Description
Hatha and Yin Yoga combine to create a balanced practice that reflects the harmony of opposites: yang and yin, activity and stillness. Hatha Yoga builds strength and alignment, emphasizing mindful breathing and holding postures to cultivate awareness and connection. Yin Yoga complements this by inviting relaxation and introspection, holding poses longer to target deeper connective tissues and stimulate the energetic body.
Hatha yoga is the traditional yoga practive and the base from which other yoga styles have orginated. We focus on the foundation: mindful breathing and postures that ground and align us.
In Yin yoga you will stay a little longer in the pose to strengthen and lengthen the deeper connective tissues. You will come into the pose to a specific depth in which you feel enough sensation while you can relax at the same time.
