Yoga for me is compassion and kindness - towards my inner self, others and Mother Nature. It is a sacred place for me, a space that I can tap into to feel grounded, calm and connected with others. A space where I can recharge and cultivate positive feelings. Yoga has accompanied and supported me through different phases of my life, including becoming a mother and being one, and it continues to do so throughout my life.
I first experienced the transformative power of yoga and fell in love with Jivamukti Yoga in 2010 and have been dedicated to my yoga journey ever since. In 2024, I completed the Yoga Education Teacher Training Course - a 280-hour training composed of philosophy, pranayama, and asana, thought by Eddie Stern, Robert Moses and Harshvardhan Jhaveri.
The teachings I share are approachable, calm, and healing, helping you to feel grounded and content. They provide a repertoire of practices you can return to and draw from to support your own personal practice. My intention is to offer a safe and supportive space for self-exploration, encouraging you to explore, experiment, and connect with your body in a mindful way.
Description
Yoga Sangraha is not a new type of Yoga, but a celebration and practice of classical Yoga practices using a contemporary approach, with science and tradition as a sourcebook.
You will move through a sequence of postures that are accessible, balancing, and stabilizing, followed by deep rest. Leaving you feeling calm, connected and revitalised.
Sangraha means “a collection” or “compendium.” These classes are grounding and calming sequences of asanas and some pranayama that have an intentional effect on balancing the nervous system. The practices come from the larger Hatha Yoga tradition, and not from any one lineage. These sequences have been put together by Eddie Stern, drawing from experimentation, study, and exploration of classical Hatha Yoga practices and texts.
Duration 60min. Taught in English
