Description

Hatha is a broad term that encompasses many forms of yoga, bringing together discipline, effort, and relaxation. The word “Ha” means sun, and “Tha” means moon – symbolizing the intention to cultivate balance and harmony within the body, the mind and energy.

Hatha Yoga is a dynamic yet mindful practice, where postures (asanas) are held for longer periods. We place special emphasis on breath awareness, learning to stay calm and steady even in more challenging poses.

This series is beginners friendly
Step by step, we explore new postures (asana) learn proper alignment, breath-to-movement coordination, breathing techniques (pranayama), and relaxation as an introduction to meditation.

If fewer than 5 participants are registered, the class may be cancelled — in that case, credits will be refunded to participants.
