Description
This is a traditional Hatha Yoga class that will take you back to basic foundations of yoga that will help on your journey .
Hatha in Sanskrit means force , or the yoga of activity , and as 'sun' ( Ha) & 'moon'(Tha), the yoga of balance . Hatha practices are designed to align and calm the body , mind and spirit in preparation for meditation .
The power of realising that we can choose how we want to be is life changing . You alone hold this power and this power comes from the heart centre. We all have our wings and often they get clipped along the journey , but somehow through the power of expansion we can reclaim this back and allow our wings to spread wide and vast .
This practice will strengthen the posterior chain muscles in the body , we will learn the key foundations that will help us build a strong alignment in the body .
We invoke the Goddess Lakshmi for opening our hearts and turn inward
Om Mani Padme Hum .
