I am passionate about pilates because it's a sport without competition and
pressure, but about physical and mental health, which directly affects our
immunity, which is most important for the time we now live in. I enjoy it when clients can relax and are happy while doing exercise.
I was born in South Africa and raised in Germany. I moved back to SA in the late 90s and worked for a while as a nursing sister in ICU before I started another career in the
fitness industry. Besides teaching aerobics and personal training, I was a part of a hip-hop dance group. I got introduced to pilates due to an injury in 2001, and decided
to study the art of pilates at Renee Watson Pilates Studio, with a good friend and mentor. I completed my teacher training in 2003. My husband, Chad, a Chiropractor and former professional triathlete, and two children, ages 14 and 16, moved to New Zealand to join family in April 2021.
I love the outdoors, animals, and especially horses, competing in long-distance riding.
Description
Build strength, stability, and ease through a dynamic full-body workout that balances core strength, posture, flexibility, and breath.
We’ll use props like balls, bands, circles, and foam rollers to keep things fun, effective, and engaging — no two classes are the same!
Suitable for all levels, this is a challenging yet light-hearted class designed to leave you feeling strong, supported, and smiling.

Welcome to Fyziolates with Kami! I'm a certified Pilates instructor with a degree in physiotherapy, and I have a genuine passion for movement, health optimisation, and longevity.
Thanks to my background in physiotherapy, I bring a deeper understanding of the human body into every session, from anatomy and biomechanics to the complexity of the musculoskeletal system. This allows me to guide my clients through safe, effective, and mindful movement, with a focus on proper alignment, core strength, and overall body balance.
I love adapting my classes to suit each individual’s needs — whether you're just starting out, managing physical limitations, or looking to improve your strength and mobility.
As a dedicated biohacker, I'm always exploring new ways to support health and longevity through smart movement and a holistic lifestyle.
I’m excited to help you reconnect with your body, build strength from the inside out, and feel your best — both physically and mentally.

Leila Joffe
Born to immigrant parents under a bright African sky Leila at the age of three was introduced to Classical Ballet which has always been a pinnacle and scaffolding of all other movement therapies and disciplines she has studied.
At the age of 21 whilst living in Mexico Leila embraced the Siddha Yoga Path. A spiritual path of discipline and a path imbued with grace. Hatha Yoga was her first introduction to a physical yoga practice, focusing on postures and breathing to channel vital energy sources.
All the while raising a family, travelling the world and finally settling in Auckland, New Zealand where by absolute chance ( or not) she found herself in a Kundalini Yoga class.
This was a pivotal moment as in her own words” This was everything I ever wanted from a yoga practice! Music, breath, postures and meditation allowing a deep inward journey. A true dance of body, mind and soul”
Leila trained at the Golden Yogi and dedicated herself to the transmission of this ancient and powerful form of Yoga.
Teaching Kundalini Yoga provides a safe space where people are able to maximize their creative potential.
Leila is a Classical Homeopath , Holistic Healthcare Professional and Lecturer. She runs her own clinic as well as a charitable clinic for children.

Her career as a carer and creative artist always came back to matters of life, spirituality, movement, healing and wellbeing. It was always asking her to let it become ALIVE. I began my yoga journey at the age of 18, drawn to the calm, strength, and self-awareness it offered. Over the years, my personal practice deepened and evolved, eventually leading me to pursue formal training. In 2020, I completed my trauma informed yoga teacher training with John and Nicole at Raw Yoga, which shaped the heart of my teaching approach - compassionate, inclusive, and grounded in awareness.
Since then I've been focusing on creating safe and nuturing spaces where individuals can reconnect with their bodies, regulate their nervous systems, and find moments of stillness and strength.
My classes often blend mindful movement, breathwork, and gentle guidance to support emotional and physical wellbeing. Whether your new to yoga or returning to your mat, I invite you to join me in a practice that honours where you are, just as you are.
Description
Flow with your breath and awaken your energy. Our Vinyasa classes offer a mindful, dynamic sequence of postures that move in harmony with each inhale and exhale. Grounded in presence and guided by joy, this class builds strength, flexibility, and inner awareness. Whether you are new to yoga or deepening your practice, Vinyasa invites you to explore movement as meditation — a space to reconnect, reset, and return to your natural rhythm.
