My name is Jeanie Smith, I've been practicing yoga for over a decade and my journey started right here at Just Breathe Yoga Studio. I've wanted to share my passion for yoga for a while and I completed my 200hr teacher training this spring. Yoga has been so beneficial to me in my daily life. It has made me more centered and grounded, and meditation and breath work has allowed me to focus on my feelings and how to work through them. Yoga has helped me with injuries and weight lifting, running, alignment and anatomy, with a balance of strength, mobility and flexibilty daily. I focus on growth in the mind, body and soul. I focus on learning how to flow through the waves of life and how to breathe through the storms and find steadiness and strength when the storm passes.

Description

Take your time on your mat back to the basics. Setting foundations and progressing towards deeper variations of poses with time and practice. Building blocks will allow you to explore your poses and ease into your practice with the use of blocks and bands. This class is for new yogis to find their way onto their mat, and seasoned yogis to explore new options and progressions. Learn to build your practice each week as we focus on different aspect of yoga and our bodies.
