I started practicing yoga about fifteen years ago, as cross-training for dance and figure skating, the movement forms that I mainly teach and perform. I soon found myself growing not only physically stronger and more flexible, but more emotionally and mentally grounded as well. I fell in love with the practice, started working the front desk at a studio in Vancouver (my home town). In 2016 I completed my 200-hour teacher training with a wonderful, wise Hatha teacher, Sasha Bahador (Gaiatri Yoga). I started teaching at YYoga in Vancouver, and later, Mosaic Yoga in Toronto. These days, with Lab West as my home base, I teach movement through many lenses; to yogis, dancers, figure skaters, and gymnasts. I love discovering the crossovers and differences between these disciplines, the ways they can complement and enhance one another, and how yoga can help us recover from all the other amazing things we do with our bodies.

Description
