Newbie Yoga!!
A class designed for the potential students whom have either never taken a yoga class, or are new to Dantayama Yoga…we delve into some of the specific alignments and modifications for those who have limitations, either from old injuries or hip, knee or shoulder replacement, or just not being very active over a long period of time!!

**Last Wednesday of each month, we will be exploring the basics of Dantayama Yoga!**

Our Dantayama classes and workshops are designed to benefit the novice or beginning student as well as the more advanced or experienced students. The premise of this style of yoga, Dantayama Yoga, is “Support equals Release”. All props, including chairs, blankets, mats, blocks, straps and knee pads are provided for your convenience. We utilize these props to promote deep release and deep relaxation. When muscles are offered support, there is no longer a need to strain, and the natural effect is, the musculature will elongate and soften. Specific alignments and adjustments are applied as well as any modifications for students who have a particular limitation in a yoga pose.
