Romaine Furmston-Evans
A dedicated yoga leader and student. I have been practising yoga for most of my life, but don’t worry it’s not as intimidating as it sounds. I take a holistic approach to yoga, empowering you to embrace the fullness of yoga exactly as you are right now. You don’t need to be fitter, more flexible, younger, thinner or anything else to embark on your yoga journey. I teach from the heart and have a warm and friendly approach to leading you in your yoga.
Description
So, what even is therapeutic acro yoga?
This is the space where the support of partner acro meets the benefits of Thai yoga massage.

Imagine floating weightless while receiving caring touch and deep but gentle assisted stretches.

Sounds pretty magical doesn't it?

In this two hour workshop you will have an introduction to both giving and receiving these healing experiences.
I will share with you a number of therapeutic acro techniques which we will eventually string together into a gentle sequence of healing and connection.

This is a beautiful practice to share with friends and loved ones. That is not to say you need to bring a partner to join.
Come alone, as a pair or in a group.

All participants will leave with the ability to share this experience with others afterwards.

There is a beautiful alchemy to this kind of platonic caring touch. When I first learned this practice I wanted to share it with everyone who would let me. And to this day it's still an instant go to method for helping friends with tired and sore bodies. A 10minute fix for what ails the body and heart.

This is a small class and spaces may fill up fast, so please book asap to avoid disappointment.

This is a physical and full contact activity. That said, it is easier than you think and you don't need to be or know someone super strong to both give and receive this care. So don't let that put you off.
