This class is a place where you can find your breath, learn how to move your body in new ways, and experience more self-awareness. As you move, we will focus on the mental practice of acceptance and letting go. It’s a great beginner’s class, as your instructor will demonstrate and teach the fundamentals of yoga.

From the outset you will be guided through intention setting, meditation and finding the calm quiet space in which to move freely. The practice is hatha-based, moving through a sequence of postures to engage the entire body.

Balance, flexibility, strength and range of motion are improved with regular practice. Each class begins with a short meditation, followed by breath exercises (pranayama) and and asana (physical postures). The practice concludes with an indulgent and restorative Savasana.

All levels and ages welcome.
