Based on the classic Vijñāna hatha practice, we practice just sitting, meditation, pranayama (breathing exercises) and classic yoga postures (e.g. sun salutations, standing postures, forward bends and backbends) varying from week to week.
This class will strengthen your body and mind through applying the focus on the seven principles of Vijñāna Yoga: relaxation, quieting the mind, intention, rooting, connection, breathing, and expanding.
You will leave this class refreshed, ready to resume your day more grounded and focused.
This class is perfect for those looking for a mindful break during their work day, or for anyone wishing to experience the mind/body benefits of yoga. All levels of experience are welcome.
