Chair Yoga is one of the accessible forms of yoga available. Students perform postures with the aid of a chair, experiencing all the benefits of yoga while alleviating the need for getting up and down from the floor. This class is appropriate for all levels of students–from beginner to advanced–looking for a slow, steady, and purposeful practice. Variations and modifications to all poses will be offered, as well as attention paid to safe body alignment and use of gear / props. Breath work, meditation, gratitude, guided rest, and mindful movement are all offered as part of this practice.

*Chairs will be provided. Please bring any other mats or props you would like.
