Master the perfect balance of strength and flexibility in your downward facing dog pose. Adho Mukha Shvanasana or downward facing dog pose is a ubiquitous pose in most yoga classes, yet most of us find it challenging -- finding a stable position for tight shoulders, reaching the hips to the sky without rounding the back, and getting the heels to the floor, to name a few. This workshop is designed to help uncover the common challenges in downward facing dog pose and develop the awareness, strength and flexibility to find the optimal position for your downward facing dog pose through self-myofascial release, targeted stretches, and strength building exercises.
