Description
This course is for beginners and newcomers to yoga who would like to gain a better understanding of yoga; not just in the physical sense but exploring other core elements of yoga such as mindfulness, meditation and breathwork.
This foundation course will be held in a safe and inclusive group setting where you'll have plenty of opportunities to ask Rhi questions and receive individual guidance along the way.
The course will cover the fundamentals of yoga, including key postures (asana), different breathing exercises each week, meditation techniques and relaxation (Savasana). At the end of the 6 week course you will have gained the confidence to try other classes on the LION timetable.
This is designed as a complete course with each week focusing on a different theme and sequence therefore it would be advisable to sign up to all 6 classes to fully benefit.
