Description

Slow Flow or Vinyasa Flow: starts with Pranayama (breathing meditation) and mobilisation around the joints, warm up flow around the sun salutation, standing postures where asana are weaved together in sequences and the breath, floor postures and stretches and practice completes with 10 minutes of yoga nidra (relaxation).

Veronica began practising yoga in 1995 and feels blessed to have had Liz Lark and Nigel Jones as her first Yoga teachers. In 2003 she began 3 years of study with The British Wheel of Yoga and started to teach in Stratford upon Avon where she opened her first studio.
She has trained as a Vinyasa Flow teacher with Shiva Rea, completed Ashtanga teacher training with David Swenson and qualified as a Yin Yoga with Norma Blair. Her style is a dynamic flow where postures are weaved together to form sequences. She teaches in Sanskrit and uses traditional Yoga music. Movement and breath are emphasised throughout practice

Her first love was Ashtanga yoga and she still goes to Mysore practise 3 or 4 times a week. Veronica has taught yoga in India and Sri Lanka and hosts a number of international retreats every year. She recently completed her teacher training for Yoga for cancer. As a cancer survivor herself she believes that her yoga practice helped get her through the treatment and that a positive mind is the most powerful tool we have.

Veronica is delighted to have been asked to teach at LION and looks forward to sharing her practice and experience with the LION students. Look forward to seeing you on the mat. Namaste 🧡🙏🏼.
