Description
This 4 week online pregnancy yoga course is suitable for those brand new to yoga, as well as those who have practiced yoga for years who now need to adapt their practice for pregnancy. We will be looking at strength work, the pelvic floor, breathing techniques, affirmations and mudras to help through pregnancy, labour and beyond, as well as a beautiful long relaxation at the end of each session to relieve any stress and anxiety. This course will be an opportunity to connect with your baby and to nourish both your mind and body, working with kindness through this transformational time. The sessions are also very much about connecting with other mums-to-be and sharing and supporting each other as best we can.
We’ll work to both strengthen your body as well as aiming to alleviate common pregnancy aches and pains and postures can easily be adapted depending on your ailments.
Each session will end with an indulgent Yoga Nidra, known as Yogic Sleep. It is said that 20 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 2-3 hours of deep sleep. So bring your pillows, blankets, candles and if you fall asleep through the whole thing then it’s been a successful session!
The course is suitable for those 14 weeks+ and you’ll need to complete a short health questionnaire when signing up.
