Description

This is an online workshop. You will need a yoga mat, plus blankets, a bolster or pillows and some yoga blocks or books. Water and something warm to wear for relaxation are also a good idea.

Join Amy for this beautiful 90-minute workshop especially for mums-to-be.

About the session
During pregnancy a lot can feel really different in our minds, bodies and lives. And right now is a time that feels really really different. Let us look after you in a gorgeous afternoon of self-care just for you.

Yoga can support you in your pregnancy in so many ways:
promoting softness and suppleness in the body without putting too much pressure on muscles and
ligaments which loosen to support labour.
both boosting and balancing our energy and shifts in mood, and lifting energy when it dips.
relieving symptoms of worry that can arise during times of change and anticipation
promoting relaxation and deeper more restful sleep.
reminding the body and mind of the intuitive movements and energy of birth that it already knows.
developing a sense of agency and choice during pregnancy and the postnatal period
finding community in a circle of women going through the same transitions together.

Join us for a nourishing afternoon of gentle pregnancy yoga flow, breath, and sound. Our practice together will help you ground yourself in your body, come into rhythm with your own breath, and familiarise yourself with movements that will support your pregnancy and birth.

We’ll hold a circle for sharing and connecting with other mums-to-be, and finish with a long yoga nidra relaxation to promote restful sleep and awaken inner confidence in your natural ability to grow and birth your baby.
