I don't care if you're male, female, short, tall, overweight, underweight, themleast flexible person on the planet etc etc - you are welcome in my class!
You DON'T have to be flexible to do yoga - this is why you GO to yoga!
Yoga is for absolutely anyone and I'm all for breaking down the barriers of what yoga is perceived as (thanks for that social media!) in order to get more people doing it. You SHOULD be doing something for your health (respiratory capacity, blood pressure, bone density, stress levels etc) and yoga is a brilliant solution. It's a fantastic practice that's lasted over 5000 years for a reason.
I teach in stages and your class can be as challenging, or as chilled out, as you want it to be. The pace is your own.
I will see who shows up on the night and if it means stripping it back to the very basics, then that's exactly what I'll do. Everyone has to start somewhere and I am down with that!

Description
Mums/dads/grandparents/minders of all ages, shapes, sizes and genders - please feel welcome to bring your little one along!
This class focuses mostly on movements for the adult, but does absolutely have elements for the little ones too to keep them amused and involved! We get their tiny bodies moving too to encourage their motor skills, digestion, mood, awareness etc and obviously to get you bonding further with your child - and in fun ways too! You can incorporate them into your movements as much as you see fit, whilst still taking care of your own body and needs, especially after pregnancy.
We have a vibrant little community of parents that come along and you'll feel at home in no time. We also have a social area for afterwards, should you wish to stay a little longer.
You and your baby are welcome along to class 6-10 weeks postpartum, as long as you've received clearance from your doctor to engage in some light exercise. You are welcome to continue to attend class with your baby for as long as you wish!
£6 per class or a 5-week block for £25 (£20 for members!)

Everyone's body differs from the next, so learning how to train your own body is very important for a vast range of reasons, from being in injury rehabilitation or your body being post-natal... to you just not fancying braving a yoga class or gym setting just yet! All reasons are valid and this is why one-to-one lessons exist - so you can get preferential treatment and my full attention for the entire hour and ask any questions you need to ask.
Together we can work out a plan that works for you, and you only.
It's important to honour your body and respect its capabilities and limitations and sometimes it's just easier to figure that out one-to-one with your own personal teacher!

Non-members can buy a day-pass to allow entry into the gym and pay the £2 fee just the same! I believe the day pass is £6.99.
This class is a general yoga flow and suitable for anyone who wishes to try it out. You take your time, you work within your own body limits, I don't poke and prod you into 'perfect' shapes!! You do your thing, with my guidance.
We breathe, we move and then we relax.

The first two options are slightly more expensive due to hall hire fees, but the first option is a lovely quiet zen space with all the yoga mats and equipment aids – and a free herbal tea! The second is a great small gym studio space.
