Yep, sitting for only a short period of time can cause tensions, aches and pains, so it's a great idea to stretch your body out again and give yourself a well deserved break!
You should be doing this anyways at work - but we don't, do we?!
So, let this be the start of a brilliant new habit going forth.
Join me online for a 30 minute afternoon stretch before you grab some food and head on back to work for the remainder of the afternoon.

2. My top/third floor flat in Shawlands. (1 person £30, 2 people £50)

The first option is slightly more expensive due to hall hire fees, but it is a lovely quiet zen space with all the yoga mats and equipment aids – and a free herbal tea!
***Not all locations may be available at all times*** it just depends where I am teaching beforehand and afterwards. So in some cases, only 1 or 2 locations may be available.
When booking – please note times may vary SLIGHTLY (due to travel/locations etc) so choose the correct payment option and email me at info@lisacunninghamyoga.com to confirm the location and times with me.
If you live further outside Glasgow please check your location with me first before booking as I only travel so far.
Block bookings, in groups of 5 and 10, are also available to bring costs down slightly.
I also offer a ‘Train With A Friend’ option. £50 for 2 people for a private 1-2-1 session. Blocks of 5 and 10 are also available.
One to one sessions are an excellent way of gaining further insight into your own body.
As teachers, we can only guide each individual so far in a class setting, but with private sessions we can delve further into YOUR specific needs.
Everyone's body differs from the next, so learning how to train your own body is very important for a vast range of reasons, from being in injury rehabilitation or your body being post-natal... to you just not fancying braving a yoga class or gym setting just yet! All reasons are valid and this is why one-to-one lessons exist - so you can get preferential treatment and my full attention for the entire hour and ask any questions you need to ask.
Together we can work out a plan that works for you, and you only.
It's important to honour your body and respect its capabilities and limitations and sometimes it's just easier to figure that out one-to-one with your own personal teacher!

*** A minimum 24 hour cancellation policy applies to ALL scheduled sessions. Sessions that are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full to the client or deducted from their pre-paid block. This is a general yoga flow class suitable for all levels of fitness. But, maybe most importantly, BEGINNERS ARE WELCOME!
I don't care if you're male, female, short, tall, overweight, underweight, themleast flexible person on the planet etc etc - you are welcome in my class!
You DON'T have to be flexible to do yoga - this is why you GO to yoga!
Yoga is for absolutely anyone and I'm all for breaking down the barriers of what yoga is perceived as (thanks for that social media!) in order to get more people doing it. You SHOULD be doing something for your health (respiratory capacity, blood pressure, bone density, stress levels etc) and yoga is a brilliant solution. It's a fantastic practice that's lasted over 5000 years for a reason.
I teach in stages and your class can be as challenging, or as chilled out, as you want it to be. The pace is your own.
I will see who shows up on the night and if it means stripping it back to the very basics, then that's exactly what I'll do. Everyone has to start somewhere and I am down with that!

BUT! We can still keep ourselves moving, keep in touch, keep supporting one another in any way we can and keep some sort of normality! :-)
We have a vibrant little community of parents that come along to my usual 10.15am class at Garscube Sports Complex on Wednesdays, so I felt it would be a nice thing to ensure that connection continues, whilst still saying safe.
This class focuses mostly on movements for the adult, but does absolutely have elements for the little ones too to keep them amused and involved! We get their tiny bodies moving too to encourage their motor skills, digestion, mood, awareness etc and obviously to get you bonding further with your child - and in fun ways too! You can incorporate them into your movements as much as you see fit, whilst still taking care of your own body and needs, especially after pregnancy.
You and your baby are welcome yo join us from 6-10 weeks postpartum, as long as you've received clearance from your doctor to engage in some light exercise. Any worried, concerns or post-natal injuries or things worth noting, please drop me a wee line at info@lisacunninghamyoga.com :-)

Block bookings, in groups of 5 and 10, are also available to bring costs down slightly.
I also offer a ‘Train With A Friend’ option. £50 for 2 people for a private 1-2-1 session. Blocks of 5 and 10 are also available.
One to one sessions are an excellent way of gaining further insight into your own body.
As teachers, we can only guide each individual so far in a class setting, but with private sessions we can delve further into YOUR specific needs.
Everyone's body differs from the next, so learning how to train your own body is very important for a vast range of reasons, from being in injury rehabilitation or your body being post-natal... to you just not fancying braving a yoga class or gym setting just yet! All reasons are valid and this is why one-to-one lessons exist - so you can get preferential treatment and my full attention for the entire hour and ask any questions you need to ask.
Together we can work out a plan that works for you, and you only.
It's important to honour your body and respect its capabilities and limitations and sometimes it's just easier to figure that out one-to-one with your own personal teacher!

*** A minimum 24 hour cancellation policy applies to ALL scheduled sessions. Sessions that are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance will be charged in full to the client or deducted from their pre-paid block. There are no refunds for block purchases - they are a commitment to both yourself and to me - unless a note from a medical professional is supplied as the reason you are unable to partake in any further exercise.

I have included a 2+ participants class pass should you wish to have someone, or the whole family join in. I won't know who's there because you don't need to be seen (!) - you only need to see and hear me! So this is 2+ participants pass is purchased at your discretion :-)

My classes are light-hearted and fun - none too serious! - and as challenging as you wish them to be. The pace is your own.
