This course is suitable for any yogi wanting to learn more about Restorative Yoga and how it can aid the healing and rejuvenation of body, breath and mind. The day will be soothing, healing, calming, balancing and overall, delicious. Treat yourself to a day of nourishment and time to slow down and restore to your true self again.

Restorative yoga is a slow and mindful practice, which involves the use of props such as bolsters, blocks, blankets, straps and walls, to help you to comfortably hold a pose for an extended period of time. Using props allows you to feel “supported” and “safe”, and therefore, the unconscious and habitual muscle tension has a chance to be dissolved and released. This practice leads you towards a more healing and recuperative experience, achieving a deep level of peace in body, breath and mind, allowing the spirit to be revealed.

This workshop will include:
* Benefits of Restorative yoga
* Why do we need to relax?
* Truly experience relaxation in your body
* How and when to use props to support your body
* Learn a variety of poses using props
* Difference between stretching and release
* A light vegan lunch will be provided
