Jardinage Philosophique
The Sankhya Philosophy forms the foundational basis for Sage Patanjali's Yoga Sutra. And Sage ‘Patanjali's Yoga Sutra’ is the foundational text of yoga abhyasa (the practice of yoga) and expounds on the nature of the human mind and human suffering, the human psychology and its relation to the body and spirit. These texts also extensively deal with dhyana (meditation), samadhi (freedom) and kaivalya (solitude in which there is no loneliness). The sutras are codified seeds of knowledge, which in time when nurtured with the heat of the sunlight of practice (tapas), the nutrients of the ground of self-study (svadhyaya), and through the continous flow of the water called attention grows into the fruit of wisdom (iswara pranidhana). Hence the name Philosophical Gardening. In these sessions, we hold questions that seem impossible to be answered by a superficial mind and through discussions dig deep in through the layers of conditioning to discover where it will take us, if we surrender the known and embrace the unknown.
