General terms of Lucia Yoga and Wellness.

Please read through these terms and conditions. By ticking the box provided when making a booking, you agree to all of the following terms and conditions.

If you DO NOT agree, do not tick the box, open an account with Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing, make a booking or use this website.

Throughout this document, ‘We’ refers to Lucia or other teachers in Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing.

1. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start of class. Admission cannot be guaranteed after the start time advertised.
2. We have the right to refuse admission at any time.
3. Please bring your own mat and any props you might need.
5. The use of mobile phones, recording equipment or video cameras is not permitted.
6. Before class starts, students must inform the instructor of any relevant physical/medical conditions, including pregnancy, or personal concerns.
7. You agree to the following as regards in-person, online and recorded classes:

– I am in good health. I have no medical condition or injury that would prevent me from fully participating in Yoga classes. I will inform you of any impairment in writing. I understand that it is my continuing responsibility to inform Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing in writing of any previous or current medical conditions, injuries, surgeries and so on before class.

– I have been examined by a GP in the past six months who has found me to be in good physical health and fully able to take part in yoga exercises.

– I understand that classes at Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death.

Bookings and payment
- Please pre-book your class online. This involves paying in full.
- Classes can be purchased individually or as a class pass or membership. All classes, passes and memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Four class passes expire two months after purchase.
- By booking a class, you automatically agree to these terms and conditions.
- All class participants must be 18 years or over. All under-18s require written consent from a parent and or legal guardian to come to a class, workshop or event.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to amend prices and printing errors.
- The same terms and conditions apply for online classes via Zoom.

Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers are nonrefundable and nontransferable. They can be used for any classes or workshops ran by the teachers at Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing.

Cancellations
Without exception, pre booked classes or workshops must be attended. Cancellation of a booked class or workshop will be accepted up to 2 hours before the class to avoid forfeiting the class or workshop value. There is no exceptions, or discretion for this policy.

Medical Cancellations – Refunds or part refunds for membership fees, private classes or workshop fee may be considered for medical reasons and with a medical certificate. Refund request are assessed on an individual basis, without precedent, at the discretion of Lucia Yoga and Wellbeing whose decision is final.

If Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing has to cancel a class, course, workshop or event, a full refund will be offered/the class will not be taken off your pass.

Be aware that the timetable will change regularly. Refunds will not be offered on class passes because of this. We endeavor to deliver all our classes as per the schedule and as advertised. However, classes are subject to change without notice. We might need to make minor changes to the services it provides and we reserve the right to do so. For example, due to class times, teacher substitutes or bad weather.

Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing may have to change the services it provides to reflect Government advice, laws and regulatory requirements. For the present time, due to the risk of Covid-19, classes will continue online.

Risks and responsibilities
Attending classes at Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing denotes the acceptance of the risk associated with all forms of physical exercise, before, during and after class.
Clients agree to monitor their own bodies and be responsible for their self care during classes and workshops.

- Clients with pre-existing and current injuries and medical conditions have contacted their treating physician or allied professional (physiotherapist, counsellor etc.) for clearance to participate in online classes and workshops.
- If you are pregnant. Yoga during pregnancy is contraindicated for first trimester. The highest risk for miscarriage occurs in the first trimester, as this is the time of embryo implantation and attachment of the placenta to the uterus. Yoga can be practiced after the first trimester but it must be modified. Clients who suspect they may be pregnant are required to seek medical advice before purchasing a class, Membership or workshop event. Our priority is always the safety and wellbeing of our clients

- Lucia, Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing and staff will not be held liable for any injury or harm resulting in participation in classes or use of facilities, OR any damage of loss of personal property. Lucia Yoga & Wellbeing does not exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the studio, its staff or agents, but otherwise excludes all liability to students attending classes.

We comply with GDPR regulations, in respect of the EU-General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679, dated April 27 2016. This policy may change from time to time. Please check this page to ensure you are happy with any changes.
We are committed to ensuring that your personally identifiable information is kept secure and have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

We may send you emails from time with information on the Studio, classes, special offers and so on. You can opt out of these emails at any time by ‘unsubscribing’ on the email link or by contacting us.

We do not share or sell your information to any third parties without your consent, except if it required by law.

We use Momoyoga as our booking software.
