Breathwork and long held postures, to unlock mobility and flexibility. We spend up to 5 minutes in some holds, mostly on the mat, to create small amounts of stress from which our bodies then grow stronger
Surrounded by meditative sounds, light and scents this Yin class will revitalise your physical, energetic and emotional body.
Yin is the opposite to an active 'yang' vinyasa or flow class. This class seeks to increase flexibility and mobility.

Yin uses longer holds in postures designed to switch off muscles and focus on ligaments, fascia and joints.

By reducing movements and load we are able find deeper or more range of motion in our joints.

As in life we need a balance, so it can be thought that our yoga practice in its physical form should be both active and passive or yang and yin, in order to find strength and flexibility.

Crystal sound bowls are sometimes used in this class so any medical concerns should be discussed before booking.
Contraindications may include;
Epilepsy and other brain related issues
Pregnancy before 12 weeks
Body implants eg pacemaker
Sever mental health issues
Chronic migraines

Hot Power is a heated practice that builds in intensity, often working towards a peak pose.
This dynamic class brings vinyasa style with a creative and energetic edge.

Yin is the counter practice to a more energetic Yang style. It is cooling and soothing, but not without challenge.
By targeting the body other than the muscular structure, we increase flexibility, mobility and support healing of injuries and ailments.
