Description

Gentle yoga is for every body type and is designed to build strength, flexibility and balance in older adults through a gentle, accessible manner. Each class will move through a series of postures and relaxation techniques with a focus on optimal alignment and the integration of breath with movement. Participants will learn ways to release tension patterns in the body and the mind, while developing freedom of movement and a renewed connection with their sense of self. Please note that this is not a chair yoga class, although we may use chairs for support from time to time. Participants should have the ability to move from the floor to a standing position and vice versa. Please bring your own yoga mat, folded blanket or thick towel, and a belt or resistance band. There are no credits or refunds for missed classes in this series. NO CLASS ON NOV 26th
