Melanie's yoga journey spans nearly 25 years. After a decade or so of a more intense, hot yoga practice, she began to crave a deeper connection. Inspired by a teacher who expertly wove yoga philosophy and the Yoga Sutras into every class, Melanie felt called to become a teacher herself. She vowed to share not only the physical practice, but the profound wisdom of yoga and its application to our modern world.

Description

Gentle Yoga is great for all levels, even those new to the practice. This 75 minute class includes mindful breath work and movement done at a slow pace. Class winds down with longer held restorative poses and ends with an extended savasana.
Students often find this style of yoga meditative and soothing for the mind, body, energy, and spirit.
Gentle Yoga is an opportunity to wake up sleepy parts of the body and strengthen muscles, expand breath awareness and improve flexibility.
