Alana Gregory
Alana has studied meditation for over 20 years and completed her Level 1 training in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) with the Mindfulness Institute of Australia.
Over several years, Alana lived and trained in Kalarippayat and Ayurveda in India. She has a background in environmental science, Hatha Yoga, martial art, and the underlying philosophies that inform these practices.
Alana is passionate about passing on the philosophies and practices that her teachers share with her. She is an advocate for a holistic approach to life and health and is involved in a number of community health and arts projects. https://www.what-makes.com/

Mindfulness: The Practice of Living Skilfully & Gently
During these sessions Alana will guide practice-based workshops in the art of mindfulness. Mindfulness is a practice which has been explored by the world’s meditative and wisdom traditions as well as Western sciences, including medicine and psychology.
It is a universal tool for cultivating self-understanding and healing and is not dependent on any particular belief system or ideology.
