Description
We’ve all heard about the benefits of daily meditation practice. How your mind can be more at ease, how your heart rate will lower and your sleep will improve. But what if you’re a person that just doesn’t like to sit still? What if just the idea of sitting still for 20 minutes a day makes you squirm? Come to this class and experience a new way to meditate. We’ll learn and explore how your moving body can be just the ticket to a calmer mind. This class is for all levels of movers. If you have a body, you will benefit from this class!
Wear comfy clothes and bring your curiosity and willingness!
About the teacher - You probably know Kate Cleary as a yoga instructor at My Yoga Barn. Kate is also a lifelong dancer with BA and MFA degrees in Dance. She is a certified teacher of Embodied Mindfulness, a mind, and a body approach to meditation that integrates breath, movement, and stillness.
