Every Kids Yoga Class at Nurture, for children aged 4-8 years, is tailormade to include Yoga asanas (postures), fun activities that focus on balance and coordination, creative expression...and we still make time for relaxation!
We investigate our bodies through movement, awaken our imaginations through storytelling and bring awareness through mindful activities.
Attendees will become familiar with basic breathing exercises, as well as other tools, that they can use in their daily lives to help alleviate symptoms of tension and anxiety, which can be commonly found in young people today. These practises can allow for a more peaceful lifestyle as we learn how to experience life as one with those around us. Come to share in joy, knowledge and wellbeing. Children are invited to wear their most vibrant (but comfortable) clothing and bring drinking water.

This class will nurture you physically and emotionally from 12 - 42 weeks +, regardless of your fitness level.
No experience of yoga is necessary.
The class is a time to relax, focus on your new baby and prepare for birth, it’s also a great opportunity to meet other expectant mums.

Each woman is different, every birth is different but whatever your plan, or your experience, the more you know your body, the more you can trust and relax when the day comes.

What to expect: All of the Yoga classes begin with a warm-up session to stretch your back, arms and legs. After that, postures will help to boost your strength and endurance. As well as classic yoga poses, you'll focus on positions for labour, breathing and relaxation techniques.
Classes usually end with a relaxation or guided hypnobirthing mediation session to help you to wind down and feel refreshed.

This class is taught by Claire Harvey, baby yoga, baby massage and pregnancy yoga expert.

This class is a slow, flowing, movement meditation combined with deeper, longer holds with use of props.

Expect to unwind, enjoy gentle movement and feel complete relaxation. This class is taught by the beauty of candle light.

Poetry, stories, yoga, music and deep relaxation are all guided into this session. An hour of candlelight magic.

A breath led Hatha yoga style class with a seasonal theme to guide you towards connecting with your own internal rhythms by following the cycles of nature.

Class will always include guided breathwork to relax or energise; movement sequences for physical mobility, strength, flexibility, balance and stability; meditation for building emotional resilience and mental clarity and deep relaxation to leave you feeling nurtured and calm.
