The 90 minute journey on your mat will begin with a 45 minute Yin Yoga practice to gently move the body, focusing on breath and longer held poses. Ultimately, this practice will help you connect with the rejuvenating energy of spring and leave you feeling grounded, refreshed, and inspired. A 45 minute guided Yoga Nidra meditation practice will immediately follow the Yin session. Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as "yogic sleep" or "effortless relaxation". During Yoga Nidra you will enter a calming state for the mind and body through guided meditation. The practice creates physical and mental activities that change brain waves to release emotional tension, slow down the nervous system, and allow muscles to relax.
