About Offline Yoga

ABOUT MY PRACTICE AND TEACHING

Yoga has been part of my life since 2009, with the past seven years devoted to the Iyengar tradition. Currently, I’m part of the two-year Teacher Education Program at the Iyengar Institute of New York. This is an immersive experience grounded in teaching methodology, anatomy, and philosophy. It reflects the Institute’s mission to uphold the highest standards of Iyengar Yoga and support a lifelong path of learning and community.

While my practice is rooted in Iyengar yoga, I honor the shared intention behind all yoga traditions, beautifully captured in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali: “Yoga is the stilling of the changing states of the mind.” For many practitioners, the physical postures — or asanas — offer the first gateway to that stillness.

My approach is to make this journey accessible, grounded, and meaningful to practitioners of all levels. Sometimes we move through dynamic sequences to build strength and focus. Other times, we slow down to refine foundational actions, restore the nervous system, and reconnect with breath and body. The practice always meets you where you are, with presence, curiosity, and care.

ABOUT OFFLINE YOGA

Offline Yoga is one of my personal initiatives. It is a collaborative effort with yoga and dance studios, as well as physical therapy clinics, to offer classes in welcoming, screen-free spaces. The idea is simple: to unplug from the noise of the modern world and create space for clarity, balance, and well-being.

Our classes emphasize alignment, mindfulness, and sustainable practice. With a focus on anatomical detail and the intelligent use of props, each class is tailored to support different bodies and needs. You don’t need to be flexible or balanced to begin. Just be open to the process of exploration.
