Leah is an E-RYT 500 and has been enjoying the physical practice of yoga for decades, but in 2019, earned her certificate through Purple Lotus and now realizes and employs all elements of yoga in her life. She specializes in Trauma-Informed Yoga and Yin Yoga, and her teaching style aims to have everyone feel safe, comfortable, and recognized, using the mat as space to heal and grow. Her own yoga journey has been one of profound gifts that she describes as life-saving, and she shares yoga in hopes of others finding the same.

Want to start the year mentally and physically grounded? This winter series is for you! Join Leah for six classes aimed at staying seated (or at least not standing) on the mat while building strength, balance, and mobility. These classes will employ traditional asanas in new, creative ways, as well as incorporating other movements, to allow for a more active practice without having to move from seated to standing positions, and back. It’s all grounded! Classes will be held at 7:15 pm on the following Thursdays in January and February: 01/08, 01/15, 01/22, 02/12, 02/19, 02/26. You don't need to attend them all to participate, attend one or all.
