Yoga Fun for the Little Ones

Description
During our 30-minute class, I plan on introducing your child to 3 of the 8 limbs of yoga, known
as asanas (poses), pranayama (breath) and mindfulness techniques. Asanas help build
flexibility and strength, breathwork helps with stress and regulating other big emotions, and
mindfulness develops self-awareness. The class will look something like this:
- 5-10 minutes of storytime to understand what yoga is
- 10-15 minutes of poses and yoga games
- 5 minutes of breathwork and mindfulness training.
