In 2003, I started yoga to find peace and step out of my overactive mind.
It worked wonders, helping me experience a calm I hadn’t known before. By 2007, I asked myself, “What do I truly want to do with my life?” The answer was clear: teach yoga.

To truly immerse myself, I traveled to the birthplace of yoga—India. That journey and training were life-changing, sparking a passion that brought me back to the Netherlands, ready to share what I had learned.

While teaching Ashtanga yoga, I discovered something even deeper in 2010 when I attended a workshop with Robert Boustany, an 'old-school' Ashtangi and the creator of Pralaya Yoga. He developed Pralaya after noticing that students often injured themselves in traditional poses. His findings were revolutionary: certain poses neglect weaker muscles, leading to imbalance and potential injuries.
