Created as a fundraiser for the Cape Coral Animal Shelter, this class is gentle and slow to relax, release and restore by using deep stretches and long poses benefiting the parasympathetic nervous system promoting rest, digestion, energy conservation and slowing the heart rate.

Participants enjoy a slow and deep, yet gentle practice. Poses are held for longer periods of time, allowing gravity to open and stretch joints and muscles. This type of yoga heals and prevents injuries with a strong focus on hips, lower spine, ligaments, and bones. Yin yoga is the perfect balance to those intense exercises, providing a slower, more meditative counterpart to help you round out your workouts.
