A complete practice incorporating yoga asanas (yoga poses), pranayama (breathing techniques), meditation and relaxation. Natural heat is built in the body using a combination of dynamic and static yoga postures. A strong focus is placed upon breath and mindfulness. This practice is suitable for all yogis, with variations offered.
Our Stretch & Relax class is a deliciously relaxing floor-based practice with longer holds and deeper stretches. As a result, the asanas are more passive holds, with little muscular engagement. A deeply meditative practice with focus on breath and using the exhalation to let go of physical and mental tension and surrender into the present moment.
