Inspired by the philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM), Yin meditation primarily focuses on your body’s meridians.

Body meridians are channels inside your body that transport energy from one part to another, any obstruction in your energy pathways can result in numbness and all sorts of uneasiness in sitting meditation postures. Meridian blockages are often caused by stress, trauma, injuries, poor diets, lack of rest, and not exercising enough.

Meridians have a deep impact on how you think and feel, Yin meditation helps you cultivate fluid stillness, unblocking meridians, by performing mini-meditation sessions. You will be formed into deep yin postures for 5-8 minutes per set focus on a theme meridian each class to boost your overall Qi, connecting all parts of your physical, emotional and mental body. One or more meridians and a pairing acupressure point will be introduced in each class.
