Welcome to Yoga for Runners, a special class designed for to enhance your running performance, prevent injuries, and bring balance to your body and mind. In this class, we’ll flow through a sequence that combines dynamic warm-ups, strengthening poses to support your stride and targeted stretches to aid recovery.
We’ll begin with a gentle warm-up to wake up your muscles and joints—think fluid movements to loosen up those hips, hamstrings, and calves that work so hard when you run. We’ll then build strength with poses that target your core, glutes, and legs, giving you the power and stability to run stronger and longer. Then, we’ll dive into deep stretches to release tension in key areas like the quads, IT band, and lower back, helping you maintain flexibility and range of motion.
