Description
PranaVayu Yoga- ‘Prana’, ‘Energy’, ‘Chi’ or our ‘Vital Life Force’. Prana flows through these energetic currents in our bodies both physically and energetically. These channels travel predominantly through the movement of Wind or Vayu. There are five main Prana Vayus, five Sub-Vayus and many more that exist all around us.
This class will gently guide us through specific postures, breath techniques and repetitive movements to enhance the flow of Prana through these channels of Wind creating fluidity, stability, calmness and an inner strength. All levels of practitioners are welcome!
Low intensity and expect a lot of support.

Amy Matson
Born and raised in St. Pete, Amy has been a Registered Nurse for over 16 years. She found yoga as a way to cope with the physical and emotional demands of her nursing career. In 2018, Amy traveled to Portugal to earn her 200hr RYT in Ashtanga + Vinyasa. Inspired by this experience, she also received certifications in Trauma Informed Yoga, Breathwork and Yoga Nidra. Most recently, she received a Professional Studies Diploma from the 4-year program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.
Amy is passionate about incorporating the 8 limbs of yoga into daily life. She approaches her teaching through the lens of ancient knowledge and modern science. The path to enlightenment undoubtedly fosters nervous system resilience. And a resilient nervous system is the healing balm for the human condition. Regardless of your path, or reasons for exploring yoga, slowing down and turning inward is a beautiful way to flourish.
Expect mindfulness and movement linked with breath. Amy is lighthearted and playful and enjoys empowering her student to find their own inner authority. If you can breathe, you can do yoga with Amy!

My mission is to UPlevel the energy of the planet by sharing spiritual and higher vibe concepts and practices in an approachable way. I am a wife, mother, life coach, and serial entrepreneur. I began my healing journey over 20 years and have over 1000 hours of training in self-development, yoga and spiritual healing modalities, including: Conscious Connected Breathwork facilitator, , YTT 200 yoga certification, Yoga Nidra certification, and NLP Master Practitioner. I am a seeker of spiritual and esoteric knowledge. I walk a balance of integrating higher consciousness into our everyday world.
My journey with breathwork began 3 years ago. I found my breathwork practice to be one of the only times where my mind would actually quiet and my body could transmute and release emotion, trauma and the stresses of everyday life. Breathwork has been the catalyst for healing my body and my mind. Everything is energy and vibration and breathwork allows us to truly align our energy naturally and efficiently. It has become my passion to share this practice with others.

Kelli Jahn
Hi! My name is Kelli and I am so excited to share my journey with you. I am a certified 200hr yoga teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. My yogic/fitness journey started back in 2007 after the birth of my second child. Soon after his birth I was diagnosed with postpartum depression. Medication just made me feel numb and I knew I needed to make changes. My doctor told me that I needed to exercise in order to boost the natural production of serotonin in my body. This is when I found yoga. After practicing for about 5 years I decided that I wanted to teach. This was the beginning of a life changing journey that has allowed me to not only heal myself, but help others heal as well. Over the past 10 years I completed several teacher trainings including SUP Yoga, Buti Yoga, Hot Yoga Sculpt & Strengthen, and Barre Amped. I am also a certified nutritional health coach and CrossFit Level trainer. I truly believe that MOVEMENT IS MEDICINE!! I am so excited to continue my journey at Salty Souls Yoga <3
