About Sam Zanardo

Sam Zanardo (they/them) is a yoga teacher, movement instructor, and inclusivity facilitator with roots in Italy and the Netherlands. Their practice is grounded in accessibility, care, and the belief that movement is both a physical practice and a political act—one that can hold space for diverse bodies, abilities, backgrounds, and experiences.

For Sam, access to movement begins with joy, curiosity, and attunement—toward oneself and others—rather than chasing patriarchal or colonial beauty ideals. Their teaching invites participants to unlearn harmful narratives about the body, fostering spaces of safety, autonomy, and connection instead of conformity.

With a background in dance, martial arts, and functional fitness, Sam blends these disciplines into classes that are technically grounded, empowering, and playful. Each session encourages deep listening to the body and exploration of movement in ways that feel personal, intuitive, and liberating.
