Description
Qigong is practiced worldwide for energy cultivation: for relaxation, prevention of disease, spirituality and much more.
With the class being in the morning, there is a little more focus on raising the level of energy in the body to awaken and support us heading into our day.
Through qigong practice we utilise awareness for our body, our breath and through gentle, mindful movement we encourage energy to flow. We use the knowledge and wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Buddhism, Daoism to assist in our journey.
I also recognise and support the individual, however they show up. And though classes are generalised, I can make suggestions and tailor to individual needs where possible.
The class is suitable for beginners and regular practitioners. No need for any special equipment. You will just need a suitable and conducive space to practice in. The class is tutor led, via zoom.
If you have any health conditions that you wish to disclose, please get in touch. Wear comfortable clothing. And you may also want to bring drink and a chair - if you wish to sit (though not essential). The class is predominantly done standing, though it can be tailored to being seated, if necessary.
Please come and join a lovely, welcoming group to practice with, and experience the benefits for yourself!
