Yoga has been a part of my life for the last 10 years. It's a grounding practice, something I do that always makes me feel better. Over the years, I've been lucky enough to practise in incredible studios across New Zealand and around the world, learning from teachers who inspired me deeply and ultimately gave me the confidence to step into teaching myself. Earlier this year, I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with InYoga Australia. Alongside yoga, I hold a degree in Exercise Science and have spent years working in the health and fitness industry, including teaching Reformer Pilates. Together, these experiences have shaped my belief that movement should support your life and leave you feeling better than when you started. For me, yoga is so much more than the physical practice. It has a way of flowing into the rest of your life too, inviting more of the good stuff. Presence, calm, kindness, self-compassion to name a few! Teaching yoga feels like a way to honour the teachers who've shaped me over the years and, hopefully, pass that feeling on to someone else. My classes are a space to move, breathe, and reconnect with yourself - leaving a little lighter than when you arrived.

Description

Vinyasa Yoga is a creative and dynamic practice that links movement with breath in a thoughtful, rhythmic flow. Through a varied sequence of āsana (postures), prāṇāyāma (breathing techniques), and mindful awareness practices, we build strength, mobility, and balance while cultivating focus and ease. Best suited to those who are looking to deepen their practice, or challenge themselves in a nurturing and supportive environment. Props and modifications are offered so you can explore each posture in a way that works best for your own unique body. You’ll leave feeling strong, revitalised, and calm.
