This yoga class is designed to support your nervous system, not to fix or push your body.
Many of us arrive carrying stress, mental busyness, fatigue, or overwhelm.
Rather than moving straight into stillness this practice meets the body where it is, allowing regulation to happen gradually and naturally.
Yoga for nervous system care is about working with your energy, not against it.
Why We Move Before We Rest
If our nervous systems are already activated or depleted, asking the body to be still straight away can feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
Beginning our practice with gentle movement and clearing exercises helps to:
* release built-up tension
* discharge excess nervous energy
* bring attention back into the body
* make rest feel more accessible later
Movement first helps the nervous system settle.
This practice supports slowing down, grounding and containing our energy and settling into stillness and deep restorative rest at the end of class.
