Mums Rest & Rehabilitation Workshop

This workshop is for you if you are newly postnatal (6+ weeks vaginal or 8+ weeks c-section post birth) or a mum simply exhausted from looking after little ones for many years! Allow your body to rehabilitate in a safe way, which may just be through breathwork, pelvic floor exercises and gentle joint movement at the beginning. There will be lots of options to modify and scale up the movement, for mothers who feel ready to start rehabilitating key muscle groups and begin building back their strength. It is important that all mothers listen to their own body, intuition and adjust poses to suit their current ability and importantly, not to their old ability - especially when practicing at home. Yoga can also be a very healing practice to help deal with sensitive psychological problems such as postnatal depression and loss of self identity.
