A restorative yoga session to for unwinding tensions that may have accumulated through the week. The class will start with some floor-based somatic movement (small micro-movements) which help to re-pattern our brain to body pathways so that we can move (and live!) with more ease. We will then explore some restorative/yin yoga postures where we rest in supported positions on the floor for longer than we do in a hatha class.
Props can be useful to help the body to release so you may want to have any of the following to hand: a few cushions, one or two blankets, a yoga bolster or firm pillows etc etc.
