Explore yoga postures and mindful movement at a slower and more meditative pace than in a flow class, noticing our moment-to-moment experience and building greater embodied and self-awareness.
Class begins with plenty of time for centreing and grounding practices, followed by gentle warming movements in supine. We then explore individual hatha yoga postures in seated and standing, observing the effects on body, mind and breath. We will end with a short seated meditation followed by relaxation in Savasana to wind down for the evening.
Useful props: A non-slip mat, yoga blocks / cushions, a blanket or towel; a yoga strap or scarf
