Explore some gentle somatics, yoga asana and mindful movement at a slower and more meditative pace than in a flow class, noticing our moment-to-moment experience and building greater embodied and self-awareness.
Class begins with plenty of time for centreing and grounding practices, followed by some gentle somatic warming movements in supine. We then explore individual hatha yoga postures in seated, on all fours and in standing, observing the effects on body, mind and breath. We will end with relaxation in Savasana to wind down for the evening.
Useful props: A non-slip mat, yoga blocks / cushions, a blanket or towel; a yoga strap or scarf
