Description

A restorative yoga class to consciously unwind and declutter at the end of the week. Give the body time to rest into the support of cushions/bolsters and props so that it is able to let go and release.
Restorative yoga helps return the body to homeostasis (regulating blood pressure, digestion, heart rate), improves immune function, helps to regulate mood and emotions, restore energy levels and improve sleep.
Recommended props: 2 blankets (or bath towels), 2 cushions (or yoga blocks), yoga bolster if you have one (you can make your own bolster by rolling up a few blankets or towels) Optional extras: Cup of tea, eye pillow, extra blankets/towels, extra pillows, cosy socks, warm jumper
