About Soundshala

Kevin is dearly loved by our sound healing crew and those we serve in our classes. He is a champion of community and jovial celebration, as well as devoted yogi, sound healer, father and friend. Kevin's journey with sound healing began over a decade ago when he was living in Hawaii, and has only expanded in depth, musical variety, and holistic understanding since.

Over the last decade he's become a student of music and the Great Mystery in a way that lends itself to the Art & Science of Sound Healing. His vision for classes is to open and transport people to a place where work is being done on a cellular level while the people rest. For years, he has witnessed the people DOING, and strives to create a sanctuary of a space where people can just BE, and in that become a more full expression of their truest nature while simultaneously building community and reducing stress and other life distractions.

Kevin's 15 years as a yoga teacher influences his stylistic approach to sound healing, as he often weaves in Vedic themes and wisdom in easy to access and integrate ways. His style often brings both levity and learning to the sound bath experience. You walk away inspired and curious, as well as deeply seated in yourself. He has a way of leaving you with a seed of potential that when watered can bloom powerfully.

Beyond his own offerings, Kevin invites other local musicians to join him and bring their unique flavors to the room. This season of sound healing will include global sound fusions and a whole host of musical collaborators who will be sharing their gifts and geniuses from many perspectives.

Above all, Kevin is a perpetual student of life and devotee of service. He rises daily at his altar to meet those 108 mala beads and vision the day into action and creation. He believes in the power of music to bring inspiration and healing in a way that it is accessible to the whole. Join our budding community of performers and come on down to meet the visionary behind Soundshala whose path has brought us all together.
